Indoor Stair Climber [ Ref: PTUni]

The PTUni is a roll-on/roll-off ferry for any make and model of self propelled wheelchair or transport wheelchair. It's really easy to reverse onto the platform, secure the backrest in place, and take off up the stairs.

It is designed to attach to virtually all wheelchairs and offers a secure, effective way to climb steps up to a maximum height of 20.5 to 23cm and offers a practical solution to disability access where it is not possible to use conventional ramps.

The units are battery operated, climb between 300 and 500 steps per charge and have variable speed control.

During descent, the body of the PT does not move until the stopper wheels of the lifting unit have reached the next lower step. This gives both the passenger and the operator a much more confident feeling on the stairs.

This stair climber is fitted with a comfy seat and armrests. Ideal for both personal and professional use, the PTOutdoor is narrow enough to edge its way down the corridor on trains and gangways on planes.

The PTOutdoor has large, non-marking wheels and a wide wheelbase to provide you with more stability outside. Now you can negotiate steps and slopes outdoors without a problem.

The PT brake wheels activate the powerful braking system inside the rims of the main wheels. Tilting the stairclimber back slightly, gradually applies the brakes so there is no risk of the stairclimber running away with you on slopes and ramps.

Using the powered climbing system with the S-FOLD, physical effort is virtually eliminated thus reducing risk of injury.

In addition, the second person who used to be needed to deliver heavy goods can be used more effectively elsewhere. The S-FOLD pays for itself in a short time.

Using the S-FOLD, you operate with a straight back because the handle adjusts to the load. Used typically for white goods, brown goods, vending machines, stoves, boxes, gas cylinders, kegs etc.
